Suspect arrested for sexually assaulting woman he met online

Riverside Police have arrested a suspect who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman he met through a dating app online.

Riverside police arrested a man who they say sexually assaulted a woman he met through a dating app online.

Detectives began investigating 34-year-old Eduardo “Eddie” Ramon Flores, after learning about a woman who had been victimized in early September after meeting Flores online through the app “Shout”.

Officials say the alleged sexual assault occurred after Flores met the woman in person for the first time.

An arrest warrant was issued and Flores was arrested on October 29. He was released that same day on $55,000 bail. Detectives believe Flores may have committed similar crimes in Riverside and Los Angeles counties.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Melissa Brazil at (951) 353-7950 or [email protected].
