JACKSON, MI – Beamer and Johnny are just two of the many pets at Cascades Humane Society that are looking for loving forever homes.
This isn’t the first time CHS has met Beamer. He was there when he was a cute puppy, and now he is a stunning adult.
His owner had to surrender Beamer due to not having enough time for him. Beamer is the type of dog who loves lots of affection and attention. He is a sweet boy but can be a little anxious with noises he isn’t used to. He appreciates new-to-him humans taking a little time to go slowly around him and offer him lots of cookies for reassurance.
Beamer will make a great dog for some lucky family. He is neutered, up to date on all necessary vaccinations, microchipped and has tested negative for heartworm.
Johnny is an incredibly sweet boy. This 9-month-old cat is almost full grown, but is already full of personality. He loves humans and always welcomes pets. He purrs readily and makes great biscuits.
Johnny’s biscuits are even more amazing because he has more toes than the average cat. He is polydactyl on all his paws, with his front paws being especially large. It is adorable.
Johnny is neutered, up to date on all necessary vaccines, microchipped and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Come meet this love bug today.
Cascades Humane Society, 1515 Carmen Drive, is open to the public from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
All dogs and cats at Cascades Humane Society have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and given parasite protection prior to adoption. Those who adopt pets also receive a free wellness checkup from any of 24 area veterinarians.
Dog owners wishing to adopt another dog are required to do a meet and greet with their dog and the dog they’re choosing to adopt.
