The 22nd Super Pet Expo will take place at the New Jersey Convention Center in Edison in Jan. 6, 7 and 8.
Pet devotees can visit more than 100 exhibitors addressing pet adoption, pet care and health, grooming, food and daycare. An array of creative pet gifts, treats, fashion, grooming accessories and toys will be for sale at the largest pet shopping event on the East Coast.
Children can also visit Repticon and learn all about reptiles and how to best care for their animal friends.
New attractions this year include Dexter the Dog, a 7-year-old Brittany spaniel from Colorado who taught himself to walk on his two back feet after losing a leg and weakening another in an accident when he was a puppy. He’s a social media star who has inspired many to overcome disabilities.
Must Love Dogs and Comedy co-founders Jolie Dudley and Nicholas Polanco will also appear and the Celebrity Catwalk will have dogs ‘strutting their stuff’ dressed in fashions by top designers.
Pawsitively FAMOUS Animal Talent Agency & Podcast’s Dawn Wolfe, trainer of Hollywood pet stars, invites visitors to bring their dog, cat, ferret, rat or bird with unique talent for an audition. She’ll share some secrets too.
Expo hours are 3 to 8 p.m. Jan. 6, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Jan. 7 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 8. Tickets are $15 per day per adult or $10 per day per child age 4-11. A weekend adult pass is $20, and a weekend child pass is $10. Kids 3 and under are free, one per adult. Some events require additional fees
