Aviva Health will once again host its Vets and Their Pets event, next Thursday November 10th.

After a two-year pandemic pause, it will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Roseburg main campus on Northeast Kenneth Ford Drive, just north of Costco.

The celebration will feature a complimentary lunch for veterans and their families, flag ceremony and free massages. Groups like Douglas County Veterans Services will be on hand to share information and resources with those in attendance.

Veterans are also encouraged to bring their furry friends to the event. Animals will be treated to complimentary services like rabies vaccines and basic exams by For the Love of Paws. Saving Grace Pet Adoption Center will have information on how to adopt a new pet. The organization is waving adoption fees for veterans. Sutherlin Pets & Grooming will also be on hand offering complimentary basic grooming services.

News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN will be broadcasting live from Aviva for the Noon Report and Inside Douglas County, that day as well.
